Cello Gift Bag
-
1
Fill your cellophane gift bag with candy, baked goods or other favors.
-
2
Remove any excess air from the package either by hand or with a food vacuum, suctioning air from it. To remove air by hand, simply start from the bottom of the bag and press air bubbles to the surface.
-
-
3
Seal the bag with a low-grade sealer. Locate these mini-irons at craft stores. Run the sealer over the top of the bag to slightly melt the cellophane together, creating a seal.
-
4
Twist the top and add a decorative ribbon around the twisted portion.
Fabric Gift Bag
-
5
Fill the gift bag with goodies of your choice.
-
6
Cut two inches of ribbon that complements the style and color of the gift bag.
-
7
Wrap the ribbon around the gift bag, approximately two inches from the top opening.
-
8
Tie the ribbon into a bow.
Paper Gift Bag
-
9
Purchase a white paper lunch bag. Fill the gift bag with favors, baked goods or mementos.
-
10
Fold the top of the bag over approximately 3 to 4 inches.
-
11
Punch two holes in the folded top portion of the bag with a hole punch. If you are planning on using a thick ribbon, create a hole big enough to accommodate the ribbon.
-
12
Cut a 6 to 7 inch portion of ribbon for a 4 to 5 inch paper bag. Add two inches of ribbon to the width measurements of the bag to accommodate a bow.
-
13
Thread the ribbon into each of the holes. Hold the ribbon, one end in each hand. Take the left end of the ribbon and thread it through the left hole in the bag, pulling the ribbon toward you. Repeat on the right side, so that each end of the ribbon is out toward the front of the bag. Tie the two ribbon ends into a bow.
