1. Sign into your Xbox Live Silver account via your gamer desktop on your Xbox 360.

2. Choose the upgrade option in the options menu.

3. Provide a valid debit or credit card number, along with all of your valid details associated with your bank or credit account.

4. Submit the form to complete the upgrade process. Your credit card or bank account will accrue monthly charges. As of 2010, the charges fluctuate between $7 and $12.
