Research various reseller websites on the Internet. There are several websites where you can resell your college textbooks. Some of the most-used sites are half.com, amazon.com and cash4books.com. Familiarize yourself with the seller's policies.

Gather all of your unwanted college textbooks to prepare to list them for sale. College textbooks have a higher resell value online compared to what you'll get for them at your local college bookstore.

3
Research the price of your books by entering the ISBN number (found on the back of the book) in the search box of the site you're using to determine the market value of your books.
-
4
Open an account on several reseller websites. Follow the prompts for entering the condition of your book, a brief description and a competitive price. Continue the process of listing each of your books. Most sites will send you an email to confirm you have listed an item on their site.

5
Wait for notification that you've made a sale. Most reseller websites will send you an email to alert you to the sale of your item. Be aware that some sites require that you confirm that you receive the email and have the item in stock.
-

Ship your item via the designation "media mail," which is the cheapest method of sending a package. Additionally, be aware that some sites also require that you confirm when you ship your product.
