This Ethernet cable won't stop your laptop from being wireless anymore.

An Ethernet-to-wireless network adapter allows a user to connect an Ethernet device to a wireless network. This setup works for computer accessories such as printers, scanners and faxes, as well as Ethernet laptops. Security features encrypt data transferred over the wireless and Ethernet network, so that information is protected. Most of these devices, including the Cisco-Linksys WET11 and the Airborne series, are plug and play, making for installation in minutes. The devices need a power source, access to a wireless network, and an Ethernet cable in order to work.
