How to Put Pictures From a Computer Back on the Memory Card of a Canon A550 Camera

The Powershot A550 is a compact digital camera designed by Canon, Inc. The camera has a 7.1 megapixel CCD image sensor, 4x optical zoom, runs on AA batteries, and stores images to an SD or SDHC memory card. Images can be transferred to a computer using either the accompanying Canon ImageZoom software or by accessing the card directly by putting the camera in SD reader mode. Copying images back onto the card requires the Camera to be in SD reader mode, or that you have a memory card reader for your computer.
