Anime Girls Clothing Tutorial
Drawing Anime clothes is fun and not especially difficult. With a little bit of practice you can become proficient and enjoy adding flair to your characters and their fashion choices.
Instructions

-
1
Decide what type of clothes you want your Anime character to be wearing. For examples of types of clothing go to www.mangatutorials.com.
-
2
Decide where you want to place your character's pants. Traditional jeans and pants are buttoned at the waist, hipsters button at the hips and low-cut or low-rise pants button even lower.
-
-
3
Draw the pants from that point down to the knees, hugging your character's legs. Below the knee, you can draw the pants close to the legs until the hem, or flare them out.
-
4
Draw two boxes on the pants for the pockets. Regular scoop pockets are common for jeans (a square with a downward-pointing triangle beneath). Dress-pants pockets are just squares with thick edges at the tops. Cargo-pants pockets are similar in style, only larger.
-
5
Add detailing in corners, lengths and on top of pockets as desired. Erase any unwanted lines. Color in with markers or colored pencils (optional).
-
6
Draw a rough outline around the character's torso and arms.
-
7
Draw various folds and overlaps along the sleeves and stomach area. This will create the illusion that the shirt is three-dimensional, making it look more realistic.
-
8
Erase any unwanted lines or dots in your picture. Color in the shirt with a design or a solid color. For examples of how to draw other types of clothing go to www.howtodrawmanga.com/howtodraw/jdillon/clothing2.html.
