How to Burn a Photo CD on Nero
A photo CD is also commonly referred to as a "slide show." It is a collection of digital image files on a compact disc that can then be viewed on either a computer or on a DVD player connected to a television set. If you want to burn a photo CD using one of the programs that is included when you purchase the Nero Burning ROM collection, you'll have to use a program called Nero StartSmart along with a CD burner.

Open Nero StartSmart from the Nero directory in your Start menu.

Click on the "Create and Edit" button.

Click on the "Create a Photo Slideshow" button.

Drag any digital image files you'd like to add to your photo CD into the window you now see on screen. Once you are done adding pictures, click on the "Next" button and then again on the "Next" button on the next screen.

Use the window that is now being displayed to design a menu for your photo CD. Think of this like a menu on a DVD---you can add music and background images if you like. This is, however, completely optional.

Click "Next" to view a preview of the finished photo CD. When you're done, click "Next" again.

Insert a CD into your computer's CD burner.

Click "Burn." Nero StartSmart will convert all of the photo image files to the appropriate format and then burn them to your CD using your CD burner.
