Instructions

1. Purchase several pairs of leg warmers to include some variety to your wardrobe. Choose solid colors, patterns and different textures such as fuzzy, silky and others to match with your skirts. Leg warmers can be purchased in a variety of clothing retail stores and are often sold alongside socks and other related accessories.

2. Choose a mini skirt that matches your favorite pair of leg warmers or vice versa. Leg warmers only look well with short skirts. A longer skirt with leg warmers can make your legs look thick and also shorten your leg line, besides looking dowdy.

3. Put on the mini skirt as you normally would.

4. Roll a leg warmer in your hands, grabbing the top part of the leg warmer, which is the wider end. Roll the leg warmer until the bottom opening reaches your fingertips.

5. Slide the toes of one foot through the wide opening of the leg warmer. Slide the leg warmer up your calf like you would a pair of nylon stockings.

6. Adjust the leg warmer on your leg, making sure the band doesn't go above the top of your calf. Make sure the seams are lined up evenly.

7. Repeat the process with the other leg warmer.

• Pair the leg warmers with a pair of open-toed high heels for a sexy and edgy look. Bunch the bottoms of the leg warmers lower on your heel to make them appear to blend in with your shoes.
