How to Use a D4 Card
The D4 memory card is a small, portable memory unit used inside of the Nintendo DS. The Nintendo DS allows players to take video games on the go while controlling two different gaming screens. The D4 memory card makes sure you always have somewhere to save your games, and if you run out of space you can switch out one D4 card for another one.

Tips & Warnings
The D4 is not the primary storage device--it does have a small internal hard drive--but the saved game data appears along with the hard drive information, so you do not need to switch back and forth between different memory devices to find your saved game.
