How to Remove Record of Internet Surfing
If you share a computer with multiple family members, friends or co-workers, then having the ability to keep your Internet surfing record private is important. Fortunately, it is exceedingly easy to remove your Internet surfing record from either of the two Web browsers that account for more than 85 percent of Web browsing.

Open your Firefox browser and click on "Options" in the "Tools" menu.

Select "Privacy" from the ensuing toolbar, and then click "Clear your recent history."

In the window that opens, open the "Time range to clear" menu, and then select "Everything."

Check "Browsing & Download History" in the menu below and then select "Clear Now."
Internet Explorer

Open your Internet Explorer browser, click "Tools" and then select "Internet Options."

On the ensuing screen and under "Browsing History," select "Delete."

From the options on the subsequent window, select "Delete history," and your internet surfing record will be cleared.
