How to Download Songs to Guitar Hero 3 on Xbox 360

One added feature of Guitar Hero 3: Legends of Rock for the Microsoft Xbox 360 is the ability to download songs from the Internet to play in the game. These songs can extend the longevity of the game and can also provide an extra challenge for experienced veterans. Downloading songs involves a few steps, but the reward is easily worth the effort.
Insert the Guitar Hero 3 game disc into your Xbox 360 and load the game.
In the main menu, scroll down and select the "Xbox Live" option. It will be the last choice.
In the Xbox Live menu, scroll down and select the "Downloadable Content" option.
Choose the song or songs that you wish to download and click the "Download" button. Note that many songs for Guitar Hero 3 cost money, so be sure to check whether you are picking a free song or a priced song, before you click the Download button.
All of your downloaded content will instantly and automatically appear in Guitar Hero 3.
