How to Transfer WMA Format to MP3 Format
The Windows Media Audio music format, stored with the WMA file container, exists as the proprietary sound format for Microsoft's Windows Media Player. WMA files are normally sub-CD quality audio files that work in some but not all PC programs. In order to increase the compatibility of your audio files, you may wish to convert your Windows Media Audio files into MP3s. MP3 files work in many more programs than do WMAs while maintaining equal audio quality. Many websites perform this task at no cost.
