You can make your own wreath using ribbon in the colors and designs that you like most. With only a few, inexpensive items, you can have a new wreath to show off in or outside of your home. Things You'll Need

  • 3 styles of 1 1/2-inch wired ribbon, 8 yards of each style
  • Scissors
  • 12-inch metal ring
  • Hammer
  • Nail

Instructions

      Unravel the first spool of ribbon. Cut the ribbon into 12 even pieces. Repeat this with the other two spools of ribbon so you have a total of 36 ribbons.

      Tie the first style of ribbon into a bow on the metal ring. Next, tie the second style of ribbon into a bow on the ring, followed by the last style of ribbon.

      Cut any ribbons ends that are too long to make the wreath look even. Spread out the ribbons to make sure they completely cover the ring.

      Hammer a nail into a wall or a door where you'd like your wreath to be placed. Hang the wire ring onto the hook to display your Christmas wreath.
