AOL Instant Messenger is a small but popular communication application made by Microsoft. On a regular basis you should change your AIM password on your Mac so to ward off anyone hacking into your messenger account. It takes about two minutes to complete the process.

Instructions

1. Open your browser and go to the AOL password reset web page (see "Resources" section for link).

2. Type in your Username or Email in the appropriate field. Enter the image word in the appropriate field.

3. Hit the "Next" button.

4. Type the alternate email address or your birthday, gender and zip code and hit the "next" button.

5. Type in the answer for the security question that you gave during the registration process. Click the "Next" button.

6. Enter your new password. Type the password again to confirm your password. Hit the green "Submit" button.
