How to Send Pictures From My Computer to My Email
Email is a popular method of digital communication which can be used to send text as well as images and other data through attachments. Another use of an email account is as an online storage area for files like personal pictures and photographs. By sending a picture to your own email address, you create a copy of the picture on the server that handles your email. This creates an online backup that can allow you to replace lost image files if your computer's hard drive is damaged.

Tips & Warnings
After sending photos to your own email address, you can send the images out to other people from your email by forwarding the email containing the photo attachments to others.
Email providers place size limits on how much information you can attach to an email. If your image files are large, they may exceed the capacity allowed by your email service.
You may be able to attach more than one photo file per email that you send to yourself.
Email accounts have maximum storage limits allocated to users; if you send yourself too many photos you may reach your allotted capacity although these limits are usually large enough so that average users will not reach them.
