How to Delete Songs From a Zen Stone MP3 Player

Delete songs you no longer want.

The Zen Stone MP3 player is a small personal audio device that can handle up to a thousand .mp3 or .wma song files. That's a ton of music for in one place, but if, for some reason, you tire of this incredible playlist and you want to get rid of some songs in favor of new ones, you can easily delete files with Creative Media Lite. This program allows you to easily manage the songs on your Zen Stone. You can quickly delete the old and replace them with the new.

Instructions

1. Download and install Creative Media Lite on your computer (the link to the download is in the "Resources" section). Start the program once it's installed.

2. Plug a USB cable into the USB port on the Zen Stone and a USB port on the computer and turn on the Zen Stone. Once the Zen Stone is connected, Creative Media Lite will display the folders and songs on it in the right pane.

3. Click on the folders to view the songs inside them.

4. Click on each of the songs you want to delete and then click on the red "X" button to get rid of them. To delete multiple songs, hold down the "Ctrl" or "Shift" key as you click on the songs to highlight more than one song, and then click on the red "X."
