How to Copy My Movie to a CD-RW Disk
All Microsoft Windows platforms since Windows XP include native functionality that lets you copy your movies to a CD format. If you have created a movie on your computer and would like to burn that movie to a CD-RW, simply use Microsoft Movie Maker, which comes with Windows. This article is designed for privately created movies. Burning copyrighted material to CD-RW is against the law, and this article is not recommended for such use.

Insert a blank CD-RW into your CD burner and open the Microsoft Movie Maker program.

Click on "File," then select the option labeled "Publish Movie."

Click on "Recordable CD," then click on the "Next" button.

Create a name for your movie in the "File Name" box, and then name your CD.

Click on the "Publish" button. Wait for your CD burner to copy your movie to complete the operation.
