How to Interact With People That Have Bearshare
BearShare is a peer-to-peer file-sharing network. The BearShare software can be downloaded for free. Users can share and download files from other user's computers. Users also can interact with other users by sending them email messages or instant messages. Users also can add friends and interact with them when they are logged into BearShare.

Download and install BearShare. Open BearShare.

Create a BearShare account. Pick an account nickname and password. You also will need to enter your location and birth date. To personalize your account, you can upload a picture of yourself and select your favorite music genres.
If you have previously downloaded BearShare, select the "Tools" menu and then select "My Account Settings..." to change or add account details.

Interact with people. Click on the link "My Friends" in the left pane of the interface. Select the search options such as age, sex, and country to find new people to interact with on BearShare. Then select the "Search" button. Look through the BearShare profiles and click on those that interest you. Select either "Send a Message" or "Instant Message" on their profile page to interact.

Find your friends on BearShare. Select the "Tools" menu and select "Find Your Friends on BearShare." Enter in your email address and password, and BearShare will scour through your saved contacts to find any account users with the same email address. You then can save them as your BearShare friends and interact with them when they are logged into BearShare.
