How to Make Napkin Holder Crafts With Toilet Paper
Many people enjoy entertaining on a budget. They love getting together with friends and family but don't want to spend too much money. You can use money-saving techniques for everything from the wine you choose right down to your napkin holders. These little rings hold napkins in tidy bundles until guests are ready to use them. They also help tie the table together by adding to the place-setting theme. Some have napkin holder rings for every occasion, from holidays to birthdays, though this can get expensive. However, with some toilet paper tubes and artistic skill, you can make as many napkin rings as you need for very little money.
Things You'll Need
- Toilet paper tubes
- Scissors
- Spray paint
- Decorations (plastic rhinestones, buttons, etc.)

1
Remove any toilet paper pieces and glue residue from each tube. If they are still a little sticky when you are done, that's OK---just make them as smooth as possible. Cut each tube into rings about 2 inches wide.

2
Spread the rings out on a flat surface and spray-paint them any color you like. For Christmas consider red, green, silver or an iridescent white. Pastel colors work well for springtime teas. If you need a second coat, allow the first coat to dry fully before adding more paint.

Glue your decorations to the outside of each ring. Pretty rhinestones work well for fancy celebrations, while buttons might be nice for a more casual birthday party. Craft stores also sell small wooden or plastic shapes appropriate to every theme and holiday. Allow the glue to set overnight before using.
