How to Update Video Drivers in Windows XP
Video drivers help Windows XP communicate with your monitor and programs to produce proper display settings. As new technology becomes available, updates are needed so that you can continue to view programs and graphics. Windows XP allows you to update video drivers without uninstalling the old and installing the new ones.

Click on "Start," then "Run." Type in "devmgmt.msc" in the textbox and then click "Run." The "Device Manager" window opens.

Click the "+" sign next to "Sound, video and game controllers" to expand it.

Right-click on your video driver and click "Update driver software." Choose to have Windows search for the updated driver or browse for it on your computer yourself. Continue through the wizard to finish updating the driver.
