Because of increasing internet-based technology, fax machines are being used less and less, but there are still advantages to sending faxes. A number of countries will not recognize electronic-based signatures on contracts, but will accept faxed contracts with signatures. To combine the advancements of the internet and still enjoy the benefits of using a fax machine, you can take advantage of the many services that allow you to send faxes online.
If the document you wish to send as a fax is not already in digital form, condense it to 3 digital pages, scan it and save it as a PDF file on your hard drive.
Go to FaxZero (see resources) and enter your name, email, recipient's name and recipient's fax number.
In the "Fax Information" section, click "Browse" and select the document you wish to send. Then re-type the confirmation code and press "Send Free Fax Now."
Go to your email inbox and look for a confirmation email from Fax Zero. Click on the link to confirm that it was you who had the fax sent. You will be taken to a web page that will verify your confirmation and begin faxing your document to your recipient. You will receive another email from Fax Zero once your fax has been delivered successfully.
