How to Print Multiple Emails as Separate Jobs in Outlook 2007

On occasion, you may find the need to print physical copies of emails you receive in Microsoft Outlook. Outlook 2007 can handle printing multiple email messages at the same time, but by default, the messages are processed in a single continuous batch job. When sending multiple emails to a printer, you can modify the printing options so that each email message is sent to the printer as a separate job.

Things You'll Need

  • PC running Windows XP or later
  • Microsoft Outlook 2007
  • Open the Microsoft Outlook program if it is not already running.

  • Click on the "Mail" tab in the lower left corner of the main Outlook window.

  • Highlight all of the email messages that you want to print. Hold down the shift key while clicking on messages to select more than one at a time.

  • Go to the "File" menu at the top of the window and select "Print." A printing dialog box will now open.

  • Choose the printer you want to send the emails to from the drop-down menu at the top of the box.

  • Make sure "Memo Style" is selected in the "Print Style" section of the dialog box.

  • Check the box next to "Start each item on a new page."

  • Click on the "OK" button to send the emails to the printer. Each message will be processed as a separate job on a separate page.
