How to Download Music Onto a Sansa 1Gb MP3 Player

Transfer music from your computer to your Sansa with Windows Media Player.

Sansa MP3 players do not come with their own software, but you can use Windows Media Player to sync your songs and playlists, even with the smaller, 1GB devices such as the Clip. Windows Media Player provides the basic tools to sync any MP3 device with music and sound files on your computer.

Instructions

1. Open Windows Media Player on your computer.

2. Add music to the media player. Click on "Library" and "Add to Library," and then let Windows Media Player sync with your computer to add your music to it. You can also select to pick and choose which files you want to add.

3. Attach your Sansa MP3 player to the computer using the USB cable that came with the device.

4. Click "Sync" at the top of Windows Media Player and wait for the device to completely sync before disconnecting.
