How to Install Zoo Tycoon 2

Manage an entire zoo in the Zoo Tycoon 2 game.

Zoo Tycoon 2 was originally released for Windows and Mac, then a version was developed for the Nintendo DS portable console. In the game players must build and manage their own zoo, including managing money, training employees, making customers happy and taking care of all of the animals. After you install the game you can connect the game through the Internet to install updates to the game and download other special features.

Instructions

1. Make sure your computer meets the requirements to play the game, including a 1 gigahertz (GHz) processor for PC or a 800MHz processor for Mac, 512 megabytes (MB) of random-access memory (RAM) for PC or 256MB RAM for Mac, 1.7 gigabytes (GB) of available hard disk space, 32 MB graphics card and the Windows XP, Vista or Mac OSX 10.2.8 operating system.

2. Insert the Zoo Tycoon 2 disc into the CD-ROM drive of your computer. Allow time for the Installation window to appear on your screen. Click on the disk drive that reads "Zoo Tycoon 2" from your desktop if you're using a Mac.

3. Click on the "Start" button, for PC users, if the Installation window doesn't appear and then click on the "My Computer" option. Double-click on your CD-ROM drive to open the Zoo Tycoon 2 disc and the Installation window will then appear.

4. Click on the "Install Now" button to begin the installation. Select the "Yes" option to agree to the License Agreement and then click on "Next." Click on the "Browse" button to locate where you want to save the game on your computer and then click on the "Next" button.

5. Click on the "Install" option and then allow time for the installation process to complete. Click on the "Finish" button when the installation is done. Click on the Zoo Tycoon 2 icon on your desktop to start the game.
