How to Destroy Maggots
Maggots are larvae produced by certain flies. They thrive off of rotten meat and in dirty, moist areas and garbage cans. An area is typically infected with many maggots at once. The best and quickest way to deal with these pests is to kill them right away. Although manufactured sprays and fertilizers exist, there are a few methods using basic supplies that work well in getting rid of maggots; each of the below steps details a different approach. A paper napkin would work best, since you can dispose of it easily. Put a napkin down over the maggots. Step repeatedly on the napkin to crush and kill the maggots, then dispose of their bodies in an outside trash can.

The water must be boiling. Boil some water. You might want to add a splash of some all-purpose cleaner and bleach to the boiled water to increase its effect, but boiling water alone will do the trick. Sweep all the maggots into a bucket and pour the boiling water onto them. You can also take tweezers, pick them up and dump them into the boiling water.

Gather all the maggots and put them into a plastic bag. Keep the bag in the freezer for a few days to be sure all the maggots have died.

Fill an open container with beer. Place it near the maggots. The maggots will crawl in and drown.
