How to Change the Cingular Pay as You Go Plan
Cingular, now known as AT&T, is one of the nations largest providers of prepaid wireless service. If you have a Cingular prepaid phone and are unhappy with your current plan, it can be easily changed. Since your service is prepaid, you can alter your plan without fear of penalties or contract termination fees.

Using your computers internet browser, go to AT&T's website. You will see an option on the page entitled Go Phone. Click here to enter the prepaid section of the website.

Check out the available plans. You can do this by clicking on the pick your plan link. This will bring up an easy to read graph showing you all the prepaid plans currently being offered by AT&T.

Change your plan. You can do this one of two ways. Your first option is to log in to your account online with your phone number and password. Click the change your plan link, then select your desired plan. If you don't have your account set up online, you can call Go Phone customer service by dialing 611 from your prepaid phone. This is a free call. Listen to the automated prompts, and select the option to change your plan.

Tips & Warnings
Using the 611 feature to dial customer service only works if you are in network coverage. You can also reach customer service by calling 1-800-331-0500 from a land line phone.
