How to Clean Satin Material
Satin is a beautiful fabric for clothing and shoes; however, it can be a challenge to clean. Cleaning satin properly is integral to maintaining its color and softness. Soak the stain in club soda for about 10 minutes; this will help prevent it from setting. If it's an older stain, this will help loosen it up a little bit.

Turn your fabric inside out and mix together a solution of ½ cup of gentle, bleach-free detergent with 3 cups of warm water, and soak your fabric in it for another 10 minutes or so.

Gently rub the satin fabric with a sponge, pressing lightly to blot away the stain and push it out. Soak in your solution for another 5 to 10 minutes and repeat until the stain is removed.

Rinse your fabric with some warm water and lay it flat or hang it out to dry. Don't wring out or put satin in the dryer, as this will ruin the fabric.

Tips & Warnings
Never iron fabric with a hot iron, and never use steam on satin fabric.
If washing the fabric yourself doesn't work, take your fabric to your local dry cleaner.
You can also try soaking your garment in a mixture of warm water and baking soda to prevent the stain from setting, and to loosen it up.
