How to Remove Salt Stains From EMU Boots

Things You'll Need

• Dish
• Dish detergent
• Vinegar
• Cleaning cloth

Instructions

1. Fill a dish with 1 cup water and 1 squirt dish detergent.

2. Dip a cleaning rag into the soapy mixture, and wipe it over the salt stains.

3. Repeat until all salt stains are removed, and allow the boots to air dry.

4. Dip the edge of a cleaning rag in pure white vinegar for tough stains that are not removed with the soapy water alone.

5. Scrub the vinegar over the salt stains until they are fully removed, and allow the boots to air dry.

Tips & Warnings

• Use caution when applying vinegar to your boots; test an inconspicuous area first to be sure the vinegar doesn't affect the color of your boots.
