Instructions

    • 1

Fill your pool to the operational water level.

    • 2

Inspect for tears in the areas surrounding fixtures within the pool such as skimmers, jets, return, drain, and cleaner lines.

    • 3

Inspect the areas around steps and corners. The pool liner may be stretched more here than in other areas and is more susceptible to leaks.

    • 4

Inspect the entire bottom of the pool for sinkholes where sand may have washed out from around a leak.

    • 5

Verify leaks in suspect areas using the red dye in your testing kit. Squirt a few drops underwater in the area of the suspected leak. If the dye exits through the liner, you have a leak.
