How to Find the Serial Number of a TI Calculator

Save

All Texas Instrument Calculators are inscribed with a 10-digit (numerals only) serial code that uniquely identifies it. Finding a serial code is important when contacting Texas Instruments Customer Service to get your calculator repaired or to check if it is still under warranty. A serial number will also allow you to recover your calculator if it is lost or stolen; knowing the serial number is the only way to prove that you are the owner.

  • Turn off your TI calculator.

  • Remove the battery panel on the back of the calculator.

  • Look for a code like "2056054567" on the back of the battery panel. This is the calculator serial number.
