How to Stop Unix Print Services
Unix Print Services is a software application that runs on a Windows server. The software enables the server to share printers with non-Windows computers such as Linux and Unix machines. The service runs on the server each time the machine is booted. To stop Unix Print Services, you use the Windows command prompt. After the command is executed, users on non-Windows machines can no longer print to the server's printers.
