- Soap
- Water
- Cloth
- Rubbing alcohol
- Scissors
- Leather repair kit (sub-patch, glue, color palette, repair compound, plastic palette knife, color finish)
- Leather conditioner (optional)

Clean the surface of the damaged leather by rubbing it with soap and water. Then wipe down the surface with a cloth dampened with alcohol. Let it dry.

Cut out a section of sub-patch slightly larger than the damaged section. Apply glue around the edges of the sub-patch. Insert the sub-patch, with the glue side facing up, underneath the hole and lay it flat against the fabric. Let the glue set for five to 10 minutes.

Mix the repair compound with a color that matches the sofa. The colors will be provided in a color palette provided in the kit.

Apply the compound onto the tear or hole with a plastic palette knife. Smooth out the compound, spreading some on the surrounding areas to blend the repair area in with the rest of the sofa. Skim off excess to ensure a smooth surface. Let the compound dry.

Gently wipe over the repair area with a cloth dampened with alcohol to smooth out any rough patches.

Spray the repair area with a color finish. Condition the leather with leather conditioner according to the manufacturer's directions, if desired.
