For the ceremony, decorate the venue with colored ribbon and inexpensive fresh or silk flowers. For fall, lots of greenery and even branches add a natural beauty to the venue. Have bridesmaids carry a single orange daisy (or what your theme color is) with a ribbon tied around it. For the bridal bouquet, a few sunflowers with tulle or ribbon can be striking and seasonal. Sprinkle vibrant leaves that you've gathered from your yard down the aisle or around the pews. This would work for an indoor or outdoor ceremony.

For the reception, buy mini pumpkins in bulk and set them on your tables. Go all out and get other types of gourds, too, such as squash. They look great and fit into the fall theme, and they won't be out of your budget. Add some greenery and tea lights to give an outdoorsy feel perfect for the season. Check hobby stores for themed napkins that might have pumpkins or cornucopia on them. Take large glass bowls and fill each one with a different gourd. Or, take tall glass jars of varying sizes and fill them with orange or yellow M&Ms. The effect is elegant and very inexpensive.

Use small bags of Halloween candy as cute favors if the wedding is before Halloween. Bags of tea, small scented candles or hot chocolate are also good cool-weather options for favors. A single sweet item, such as a miniature pie or cake, can be put into a pretty bag and tied with colored ribbons.
