Linux is an open-source operating system developed to flow with a user's computing needs. Ubuntu is the most popular of more than 600 Linux releases as of 2010, with an upgraded version available for free download every six months. You can change many things in Ubuntu, from the desktop themes and menu options to the way a user logs in. If you deleted your Firefox icons from the Linux Ubuntu desktop, restore them quickly.
