How to Remove Spyware, Adware & Trojan Viruses Offline
Spyware, adware, Trojans and viruses come in all shapes and sizes, but the thing they have in common is that you do not want them on your PC. Collectively they are known as "malware," which is short for "malicious software." Removing malware offline is a task you can do easily, since Microsoft includes a Malicious Software Removal Tool with all copies of Windows.

Run Microsoft's "Malicious Software Removal Tool." Open your Start menu and then click the "Run" dialogue. Type "MRT" here, then hit your Enter key. This application comes installed with machines running Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows 2000 and Windows Server 2003.

Click on the button labeled "Next."

Select the option labeled "Full Scan." While this can take a bit longer than the "Quick Scan" default, it gives a better chance of removing spyware, adware, Trojans and viruses from your PC.

Click on the button labeled "Next." Wait for the program to complete its scan of your malware-infected computer.

Follow the prompts that appear to remove the malware.

Click on the button labeled "Finish."

Restart your computer.
