How to Download YouTube Videos to My iPod With URLs
Downloading YouTube videos to your iPod or MP3 player is easy and quick when you use the video's URL.

Visit Youtube.com and choose a video to download. After the video has been chosen, copy the link that is in the "URL" box.

Open up a new window and enter Keepvid.com. Paste the URL link in the box next to the download button. Click on the type of website that it is being downloaded from. In this particular case, it will be YouTube. Choose a quality of download. iTunes supports .MP4 quality.

Save the file to an easy-to-find place within your computer. The simplest place to save it to is "Videos" (in iTunes), as it is easy to access.

Open up the iTunes program on the computer, and the video will be available. Simply sync the iPod with iTunes, and watch the video.

If you own an iPhone, you don't need to follow through with these steps--iPhones have a YouTube application within the phone.
When downloading anything from the Internet, be sure to do a virus or Trojan check so that nothing damages the computer or iPod.
