How to Delete Messages in Windows Messenger

Microsoft allows Windows users to download the MSN Messenger. Messenger is used by many for chatting purposes, however it is also able to do more than only facilitate chatting sessions. For example, users can play games in Messenger, share pictures and add pictures or videos of themselves. If you do chat in Messenger, the messages you send and those that are sent to you are saved on your computer. You may choose to delete these messages.

  • Click on the "Start: menu on your desktop. When the menu appears, choose "Documents" or 'My Documents."

  • Click on the "My Received Files" folder. A list of all Messenger conversations will appear.

  • Select "Ctrl" + "A" on your keyboard to select all conversations.

  • Right-click your mouse and choose "Delete." This will delete the Windows Messenger messages.
