How to get iPad Apps

Apple's iPad provides a new mobile experience for surfing the Web, checking email, listening to music, looking at digital photos, watching movies and reading digital content. The iPad features a 9.7-inch LED touchscreen and up to 10 hours of battery life. Applications or "apps" are additional software programs that can be downloaded on the iPad. Apple currently has over 1,000 apps available for the iPad that include gaming, entertainment, weather and news programs.
