Instructions for Setting a Clock in a 2005 Buick Lesabre

Save

The 2005 Buick LeSabre does not have a standalone clock. Instead, the clock displays on the right side of the radio display. Setting the LeSabre's clock involves using the radio-control panel. You'll need to set the clock after replacing or unhooking the battery, or to adjust to different time zones. Two radios were available in the 2005 LeSabre: a CD/radio-combo unit and a CD/radio/cassette player. Either clock has the same control panel, so the instructions for setting the clock are the same.

  • Start your engine to turn on the vehicle electronics.

  • Locate the two small buttons on the right side of the radio display. The top button is labeled "H." The bottom button is labeled "M."

  • Hold "H" to set the hour. As you hold it, the hour advances. If setting clock to an "A.M." time, make sure "A.M." displays to the right of the time.

  • Let go of "H" when the correct digit appears. Hold "M" to set the minute. Release the button when the correct minute appears.
