How to Download Frostwire to iTunes

Save

If you use Frostwire to download music, you can set your preferences so that your files save directly into iTunes, allowing you to archive music into playlists or upload your songs onto an iPod, iPhone or other device. Frostwire will even create its own playlist in your iTunes music library, so you will always know where to find all of your most recent downloads without having to search through hundreds of songs.

  • Open iTunes.

  • Select your "Preferences." If you use a Mac, click "iTunes" in the menu bar and select "Preferences" from the drop-down menu. If you use Windows, click "Edit" in the menu bar and select "Preferences" from the drop-down menu.

  • Click the "Advanced" tab in the top-right corner of the "Preferences" window. It features an image of a gray cog.

  • Copy the path location that appears in the box beneath the words "iTunes Media folder location." It may say something like "/users/Home/Music/iTunes/iTunes Music."

  • Open Frostwire.

  • Click "Tools" in the menu bar and select "Options" from the drop-down menu.

  • Click "Saving" in the left column of the "Options" window.

  • Paste your previously-copied iTunes path into the box next to the word "Folder."

  • Click "Apply." Now, whenever you download songs using Frostwire, they will save automatically in iTunes.
