Mounting a tire on a lawn tractor is easy, as long as you know the order of the hardware.

The tires on a lawn tractor are very similar to tires on a car. They are filled with air to a certain PSI and are then mounted on the axle of the lawn tractor. Just like car tires, they are subject to sharp objects which can cause tears or punctures. Taking your tire off the tractor is easy, but once it's off, you might have forgotten which order the parts came off and how to remount it to the tractor. Instructions

      Slide the hole in the center of the tire rim onto the post of the wheel axle on the lawn tractor.

      Slide the two washers onto the axle post. Place the opening of the retaining ring against the bottom of the axle post. Use a pliers to pinch the ring onto the axle.

      Push the axle cover over the tip of the axle post.
