Instructions

    • 1

Draw a large oval shape on the light green felt with fabric marker big enough to cover most of the front of shirt. Cut it out and glue to front of shirt.

    • 2

Cut three or four spots out of scraps and glue them to the back of sweatshirt in a random manner.

    • 3

Lay a gloved splayed hand on a small piece of dark green felt. Draw an outline of hand with webs between the fingers. Cut it out and glue to the palm of the glove. Repeat this with other hand.

    • 4

Draw an outline of the socked foot with a two-inch flipper in front onto the stiffened dark green felt. Cut it out and glue it to the bottom of the sock.

    • 5

Push one goggle eye into a Styrofoam ball, making a indention. Glue the eye into the indention. Repeat with other ball and eye.

    • 6

Drape a 10-by-24 piece of felt over the eyes. Pin it between the eyes, on either side and behind to form eye lids. Hand sew the felt to the hood. Trim any excess felt.

    • 7

Draw a small crown onto the gold felt. Cut it out. Decorate with jewels. Glue into a circle. Glue to the top of the hood just behind the eyes.

    • 8

Tie green ribbons around the legs just above the knees to simulate frog's legs.

    • 9

Paint the costume wearer's face green.

    • 10

Tie red ribbon around the costume wearer's neck in a bow tie.
