When glue is spilled on linoleum and is not discovered until well after it is dry, simply trying to scrape it off may damage the linoleum.   • Lighter fluid
  • Paper towels

      Lay the putty knife as flat as possible while putting the metal flat end underneath the glue.

      Push the putty knife underneath the glue. Use something like a chisel to gently tap on the end of the putty knife.
