Things You'll Need:
- Mirrors
- Distilled Waters
- Mascara
- Waterproof Mascaras
-
Step 1
Choose a mascara that has a thin brush, which means that the opening to the tube will be small and less air will get in. When air enters the tube, it dries out the mascara.
-
Step 2
Avoid pumping the mascara wand too vigorously during use. This allows air to get into the tube.
-
Step 3
Add one drop of water to the tube of dry mascara if necessary. It's not a great idea, but in an emergency, you will be able to get more out of the tube by using this trick.

on 8/8/2006 Roll the tube in your palms for ten seconds before applying. This pushes the mascara to the inner walls of the tube, thus making it easier to apply.

on 11/22/2005 Leave your tube of mascara in hot water for a few hours, and then get another mascara brush from another pot to add more mascara. This means you have the effect of two mascaras rather than one!

on 11/22/2005 Take tissue paper (not Kleenex tissue) and clean your mascara brush once a week. It's a miracle!

on 11/22/2005 When my mascara is running dry, I fill the sink with very hot water and drop the tube of mascara in for a few minutes. It softens it up a bit.
