How to Convert Adobe Reader 6 Into Microsoft Word
Portable Document Format files, the files that Adobe Acrobat reads, were introduced to the public in 1993 in an effort to move closer to the paperless office. PDF files keep their formatting from one computer to the next, and from one program to another.
Converting a PDF file so that it can be read and edited in Microsoft Word will be free and simple.

Navigate to http://www.pdftoword.com/.

Find the blue rounded rectangle. Under "Step 1," click "Browse..." and locate the PDF file you wish to convert. Click the file and click "Open."

Under "Step 2," you can choose between converting your PDF file to a DOC file or an RTF file. The bubble to the left of .DOC will be highlighted by default so you can skip to "Step 3."
While RTF files can be opened in Microsoft Word, DOC files are native to Microsoft Word.

Under "Step 3," write your email address in the text box. Click "Convert."

Shortly after clicking "Convert," you will receive an email from no.reply@mail.pdftoword.com. In the email there will be an attachment of your converted PDF file. It will now be a DOC file which you can open in Microsoft Word. Though it varies depending on your email hosting service, attachments are usually found either before or after the body of the email. Download the attachment to your desired location.

Tips & Warnings
If you do not see the email PDF to Word sent you, look in your spam folder. It may be in there.
Though the majority of PDF files are made electronically, some PDF files are actually scanned documents. In this case, you do not need a PDF to Word converter. You will need optical character recognition software which reads images and converts them into text.
Because PDF files are meant to keep their formatting, and DOC files are not, your PDF file will likely look different but very similar to the original PDF file.
