How to Clean a MacBook Computer Screen

Your MacBook's screen gets dirty as you use it. Because of your screen's sensitivity, over time you will begin to see oil smudges, dust, and fingerprints. • Lint-free cloth or paper
• Water

Instructions

1. Turn off your Macbook and disconnect the power adapter from your computer. If you have been using your computer for a while, let it cool down.

2. Turn your Macbook upside down and remove the battery from the battery compartment. Dampen a soft, lint-free cloth or paper in water and wipe the screen until you can no longer see fingerprints and smudges. A lint-free cloth is ideal because it does not have particles that can interfere with your computer's circuitry.

3. Wait for the screen to dry completely, replace the battery or plug back in the power adapter, and then turn on your MacBook computer.
