People all across the world download their music from the Internet. The most important thing to remember when downloading music is ensure that you download your music legally. Downloading music from the Internet to a blank CD is quite simple and will allow you to listen to your music from anywhere at any time.

Instructions

      Open your downloading software (Limewire, iTunes, Napster, etc.). In the Search box, write the name of the song, artist or band that you'd like to download. When the song has finished loading, it will automatically upload and save to both the downloading application and Windows Media Player.

      Click Start at the bottom left-hand corner of your screen. Click on Programs and then Windows Media Player to start the application.

      Click on File on the Media Player's toolbar at the top of the screen; then click on Applications.

      Click on your downloading software's folder. When opened, you will have access to all the songs that have been downloaded to your computer.

      Double-click on the songs that you would like to burn to a CD. The songs will be transferred to the Now Playing queue in the Media Player.

      Name your playlist. From the drop box about the queue, select Edit Playlist. Type in a name for your playlist, and then click OK.

      Click on the Burn or Burn to CD tab at the top of Media Player. Select your playlist's name from the box on the left side of the screen. When the songs appear, you can rearrange their order if you wish by simply dragging certain songs up or down the playlist.

      Click Burn Now or OK when you're finished. You will then be prompted to insert your CD into the drive. Once inserted, the burning will begin. When the CD is finished, the drive will open and your CD will be ejected.

    Macs

      Open your downloading software (Limewire, iTunes, Napster, etc.). In the Search box, and write the name of the song, artist or band that you'd like to download.

      Click on the iTunes icon from your toolbar at the bottom of your screen. If your iTunes is not located on the toolbar, click Finder. Under Devices, click on Macintosh HD or Macintosh. Your programs will pull up on the bottom right part of the Finder screen. Scroll down until you see iTunes and click on it.

      Click on the "+" at the bottom left corner of iTunes. This will create your playlist.

      Type in the name of the playlist you'd like to create and hit Enter. Your playlist will pop up on the left-hand tool bar.

      Click on iTunes DJ under Playlists. Select the specific songs you want to burn to a CD by dragging the songs to your titled playlist.

      Click Burn Disc. You will prompted to insert a blank CD into the computer. When the CD is inserted, the burning will begin. The CD will eject when finished.
