How to Clean a Cast Iron Grate
For frequent grillers, even routine grate maintenance may not prevent the need eventually to clean and re-season the cast iron. Food particle buildup, or fading color, is an indication that it's time to give the grate a quick scrub and heat sterilization. While some grilling aficionados recommend using soapy water to scrub, it's best to avoid using soap because it can lead to rust on the grate. Does this Spark an idea?
