How to Connect a Dell Inspiron 8600 to a Television
The Dell Inspiron 8600 is a laptop computer that has two video output ports. The first port is a VGA port, which is typically used to connect your laptop to an external computer monitor. The second port is a S-Video port, which provides a higher quality video transfer than the VGA port and is often used to connect you computer to a TV. If you're TV doesn't have an S-Video input, which is the case for most TVs, you'll need a S-Video to RCA cable adapter.
