How to Remove Oil Stains From Grout
A tile and grout combination is a popular building material used in kitchen areas, where food and grease are constantly present. When grease splatters on a grouted area, it leaves a dark, hard-to-remove stain that greatly diminishes the appearance of the surface. Pour a drop of liquid dish soap on the oil stain and scrub the soap into the oil with a wet toothbrush.

Repeat until all residue is removed, then wipe the area with a wet cloth.

Make a paste, which can be applied to tough oil stains. Pour baking soda into a bowl and make a thick paste by stirring in water until you reach a thick, even consistency.

Apply a thick coating of the paste to the oil stain and let it sit for 20 minutes.

Scrub the area with a wet toothbrush until the stain has been removed and wipe with a damp cloth to remove the paste and any oil residue.
